Watching Mad Max: Fury Road is a sometimes daffy, occasionally baffling, surprisingly touching and even romantic adventure with one kinetic thrill after another. The film lacks the granular realism of the earlier installments, but Miller renders that unnecessary by magnifying the weirdness and insanity that always lurked beneath the series' surface.If you strap yourself in and let yourself just go along for the ride, you might just get your mind blown.
